Tourist guide training

Tourist guides are sometimes the only people that tourists have a chance to speak with in a destination. For that reason, they have a significant importance when it comes to the image of the tourist destination. Based on their behavior and presenting, guests create an impression which they take home from the travel. An essence of tourist guide work is to present the destination and their own country the best they can, so that guests would spread a positive image and visit it again. Tourist guides should not only have the general knowledge about cultural and natural resources in the region they represent, but also master specific skills and techniques necessary for guiding a group. Accordingly, the main goal of this course is for attendees to gain the necessary knowledge, as well as skills and techniques of guiding tourist groups on tourist destinations, so that they could present them to the guests in the best way possible.
